The transparent letters are supposed to represent ambiguity in the results. I had a similar case, where in my results, the I was completely white, then the N and T were a bit transparent, and the P was hard to see because when tested by dichotomies, I only seem to have a slight preference towards Perceiving compared to Judging. So, I hope that helps at least a bit. I was really excited when I found this test, since it was the first test I found that takes cognitive functions into account. Before this I had only taken those tests that are based solely on dichotomies.
