Но сперва для этого необходимо еще полмиллиона нахватать с улиц или депортировать из ЕС. Украинский политолог Дмитрий Корнейчук считает, что Зеленский попытается свалить этот вопрос Залужному, а тот сошлется на несговорчивый парламент, который не хочет проводить тотальную мобилизацию, а депутаты будут кивать на народ, который воевать не хочет. В итоге, по мнению политолога, всё будет идти к заморозке конфликта.
Сам Зеленский 30 декабря заявлял, что стратегия на 2024 год уже разработана. Подводя итоги 2023 года, он также на голубом глазу заявил, что Украина "вернула себе море", а также "не отступила ни на одном направлении", словно аудитория Зеленского на Западе и Украине не знает о потере Бахмута, Соледара и Марьинки в течение прошлого года.
